Volunteer work
ARK is always seeking volunteer assistance. The kindness and help of others is at the heart of everything we do.
Foster
Fostering means taking care of an animal for a short time,( e.g. when recuperating after surgery. )
This is both a needed and rewarding service.
Adopt
When you are ready to give a cat or dog a ‘forever home’, adoption is the choice for you. There are many animals in desperate need of a safe home and a loving family.

- Translating English announcements/ articles into other languages.
- Manning our Turkish and English emergency mobile telephones.
- Manning stands at craft fairs, tabletop sales and similar events.
- Making and donating items for sale at craft fairs.
- Donating unwanted clothing and household items for sale at tabletop sales operated by our friends at Salt Box restaurant.
- Hosting coffee mornings or other fund-raising events.
Fostering
MEDICAL FOSTERING
Fostering animals after surgery or prolonged courses of medication until they are fit enough to be released or we can find them permanent homes. (We would pay for all treatment, food and any other expenses)
Collecting sick or injured animals and taking them for treatment when the caller has no transport (We would reimburse your expenses)
FOSTERING UNTIL ADOPTED
Fostering orphaned or abandoned puppies or kittens until they can be found permanent homes. (We would pay for all treatment, vaccinations, food and any other expenses.)
FOSTERINH WHILR OWNER IS LOCATED
Every effort will be made to located owners of pets that might be lost from their homes. We will need to house these animals while attempting to locate their owners, and having a temporary foster is crucial during this phase.

The Homeless dogs and cats are always in need of a safe and loving home. If you are ready to give one of these beautiful animals a second chance for a great life, adoption is a wonderful way to help. Animal adoption is one of the most rewarding things you can do; the animals are so grateful!
One of our successful adoptions is seen in the photo. The dog was saved from the brink of death, and is now happy in a safe and living forever home.

No act of kindness is considered too small when helping these poor animals. Please consider these other ways to improve their lives if you are local or visiting Kuşadası.
You can:
· Leave out clean drinking water
· Provide nourishing and safe food for street animals
· Alerting us to any injured or sick street animals.
· Providing shelter in bad weather
· Joining and sharing our Facebook and Instagram pages.
· Donate items we can sell (e.g., handicrafts, household items)
· Donating animal health and grooming supplies (e.g., worming tablets, flea powder, nail clippers, leads & collars, blankets, beds)
· Attending our fund-raising events
· Telling your friends and family about us
